Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Netherlands and Dutch-speaking region of Belgium

Job Description: Are you passionate about technical sales and building strong client relationships? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to manage and grow our business within the industrial sector. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our hydrostatic and electrohydraulic transmission products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing clients.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted market segments.

  • Continuously analyze the market and update the sales CRM to track customer projects and progress.

  • Prepare tailored technical and commercial proposals for standard products or custom-designed solutions.

  • Create and execute strategic commercial action plans aligned with company objectives.

  • Ensure accurate representation of customer forecasts at manufacturing facilities.

  • Regularly report on sales activities, including monthly updates and customer visit summaries.

  • Collaborate closely with the Application Engineering team to ensure contract compliance.

  • Support and motivate the distributor network through training and setting sales commitments.

  • Establish and execute key account management plans, building relationships with top management and decision-makers.

  • Align sales activities with the company's technological roadmap and manage scorecards for key accounts.


Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Higher diploma in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering (Bac+3/5 or equivalent).

  • At least 3 years of experience in selling technical products within the industrial sector (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics).

  • Fluent in both Dutch (C1 level) and English (B2 level).

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in developing and implementing commercial strategies.

  • Holder of a valid B driver's license.

Additional Information:

  • The role requires travel within the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium. Overnight stays may be necessary.

  • A company car is provided.
