This is a remote position.

The Bellum Group is sourcing candidates for prestigious national wholesale brokerage and managing general agency that has an excellent opportunity for a Producer/Broker and Associate Producer/Broker roles.

We are sourcing multiple candidates for both remote and onsite positions.

This role will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Producer/Broker to learn the ropes.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain underwriting files, review policies, inspections, endorsements

Solicit new business through sales/marketing, build agent relationships
Work with retail agents to submit business to target markets
Assess submissions, negotiate terms for best coverage/pricing
Coordinate with support teams for smooth service delivery

Qualifications:

P&C insurance knowledge - coverages, rating, terminology (licensing preferred)
Driven "people person" skilled at building relationships
Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, ability to learn new software
Strong writing and analytical abilities
Self-motivated, goal-oriented team player
2-3 years Production Assistant experience preferred
1-3 years wholesaler experience a plus
Desire to become a Producer/Broker within 1-2 years
