The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager - Overseas to join our growing Business Development team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our US Market in generating inquiries, executing email campaigns, gathering briefs, building proposals, qualifying leads, creating collaterals, maintaining databases, and liaising with research business units for case studies. The Business Development Manager - Overseas will be responsible for supporting all BD-related activities remotely from Bangalore, including LinkedIn and online marketing efforts. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about helping businesses unlock the power of customer feedback. This position is based in Bangalore / Remote, India, and does not involve working in shifts.
Responsibilities:
Generate Inquiries: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to generate inquiries through various channels, including online research, networking, and leveraging existing client relationships.
Understand Customer Needs: Conduct thorough research to comprehend the needs and challenges of prospective clients.
Execute Email/Online Campaigns: Design and execute targeted email/online campaigns to engage potential clients and promote our services effectively.
Effective Positioning: Utilize insights gained to position Feedback Insights' solutions in a manner that addresses the specific needs and challenges of each customer.
Gather Briefs: Collaborate with the rest of Feedback Insights to understand client requirements and gather comprehensive briefs for research projects.
Proposal Development: Utilize gathered information to create compelling and customized proposals that align with client needs and objectives.
Client Communication: Participate in conference calls and meetings with clients to provide support, clarify queries, and ensure smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Support BD initiatives: Assist the BD Head in managing client relationships, tracking progress on proposals, and following up on leads to drive conversions.
Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and manage the calendar of the Head of BD in the USA, arranging appointments and meetings with clients and prospects as needed.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and enhance our service offerings.
Skills Required:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the market research or consulting industry
Post graduate / MBA
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experienced in customer communications including MS office
