Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensure compliance with building codes, collaborate with project teams, prepare detailed drawings, and inspect installations to meet interior design requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, tailored to interior design requirements.
  • Collaborating with interior designers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into project layouts.
  • Preparing detailed mechanical drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Ensuring all mechanical designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Conducting load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork and piping design to optimize system performance.
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
  • Reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and installation plans.
  • Staying updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in mechanical systems.


What we look for:

  • 5-7 years of experience in MEP design for interior design or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software; experience with BIM tools is a plus.
