As a Web App Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-based web applications. This role involves bridging visual elements with server-side infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality, and maintaining a keen focus on usability and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing…

This is a full-time hybrid role, located in London with flexibility for remote work.

The Full Stack Web Developer will:

• Develop responsive, mobile-first, and complex user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and build applications using Remix and the Grunge Stack.
• Build reusable, maintainable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Write clear and comprehensive documentation for all development work.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members in an agile environment to define, develop, and deliver features.

If you have any of the following – this would be an added advantage:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional JavaScript development experience.
• Strong experience with Remix framework and ideally the Grunge Stack.
• Solid understanding of modern web development practices, including responsive design.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS or VueJS and associated UI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
• Proficiency with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Strong grasp of cross-browser and device compatibility issues and solutions.
• Understanding of Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks for JavaScript (e.g. Cypress, Vitest, Testing Library ).
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience, ideally Scrum Certified, and knowledge of tools like Jira.
• Experience with AWS services; CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB
