As a Mobile App Developer, you will design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver polished, seamless, and feature-rich mobile applications.

What you’ll be doing…

This is a full-time hybrid role, located in London with flexibility for remote work.

The Mobile App Developer will:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure applications deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Integrate applications with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure smooth application functionality.
• Follow Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines to create visually appealing and intuitive apps.
• Implement security measures and ensure data protection within apps.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
• Document development processes, workflows, and technical specifications.

If you have any of the following – this would be an added advantage:

• 3+ years of experience in iOS app development.
• Proficiency in Swift programming language.
• Solid understanding of iOS frameworks such as CoreLocation.
• Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs using Swift Package Manager.
• Familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and app submission processes.
• Knowledge of iOS app architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
• Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools like Instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins).
• Experience with cloud services such as Firebase or AWS Mobile SDK.
• Knowledge of SwiftUI and Combine framework for modern app development.
• Exposure to testing frameworks like XCTest or UIAutomator.
• Experience with push notifications and in-app purchases.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices for mobile apps.
