Criminal Background Check Agent

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Criminal Background Check (CBC) Agent. This role requires a combination of data entry, research, customer interaction, and driving responsibilities. The ideal candidate will manage PrintScan operations, conduct fingerprinting and background checks, verify sensitive data, and handle the transportation of materials to and from USPS and FedEx locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle sensitive information, including Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, credit card numbers, and fingerprints.
• Review provider information and accurately enter it into applications and criminal background databases.
• Update and submit applications to state board portals for review.
• Print and submit completed provider CBC applications via FedEx/USPS.
• Communicate with providers regarding their CBC results received by mail or email, and upload the information into client platforms and state board portals to complete CBC tasks.
• Transport materials to and from USPS/FedEx locations.
• Accomplishing related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to transport materials to USPS/FedEx locations as part of the role.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Computer data entry experience/skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to process and information changes.
• Professional handling of sensitive information.

Note: Driving is a critical component of this position. Candidates must have their own vehicle for transporting materials to and from USPS/FedEx locations. The company provides a transportation allowance and necessary equipment. Training will be provided for all aspects of fingerprinting and background check procedures.
