Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights: 

Contract: Independent Contractor
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Time (1-hour unpaid break)
 

About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, content creation, and social media strategy. You will be responsible for designing visually appealing and engaging content for various social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and driving audience engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high-quality graphics, images, animations, and videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Develop creative content strategies that align with marketing goals and target audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute engaging campaigns.
  • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, voice, and style.
  • Create templates and design elements that support ongoing content creation.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, design tools, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Edit and refine content based on feedback from the marketing team.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and video editing software.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with brands or agencies in content creation.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
  • Experience in motion graphics or animation is a plus.
