Job purpose:

We are looking for a Senior Digital Media Designer who will be responsible for creating a wide range of creative assets, including digital mockups, storyboards for animated banners, wireframes, and final art files for emails, websites, and apps. This role also involves producing print materials such as flyers, advertisements, branded documents, and product packaging. Additionally, proficiency in creating and updating digital presentations, primarily in PowerPoint, is essential.


The designer will collaborate closely with other Digital Media Designers to deliver high-quality assets for a variety of projects. Fostering a collaborative environment where ideas are freely shared and discussed is key to identifying optimal solutions to creative challenges. Critical thinking, self-learning, and problem-solving are essential soft skills for success as part of the Design team.


Job details: 

  • Location: 
    • 100% Remote – Temporary Contract (Approx. 2 Months) with Potential for Extension
    • Open to candidates based in Central AmericaMexico, or Colombia.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CR Time Zone
  • Job Type: Full-Time Employment
  • Language Proficiency: Spanish: Native / English: B2+ reading, writing, and conversation.
  • Availability: Immediate availability preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and PM, to propose feasible creative concepts.
  • Create and optimize graphics, images, videos, and animations for use across various digital platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct research and gather data to inform the implementation of effective digital media strategies, ensuring they resonate with the target audience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide design recommendations, and deliver projects within established timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital design, user experience, and emerging technologies, and integrate them into your work.


Required Academic Background:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience as a creative director in advertising agencies.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Digital and Print design, with a strong focus on.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance field preferred.
  • A firm grasp of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe XD and Illustrator. Experience with other design software would be appreciated.
  • Have a precise eye for detail and are obsessed with accuracy and consistency.
  • Good visual sense and be able to perceive and adhere to the stylistic elements on multiple brands and different types of media products.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data and messages in a clear, engaging, and visually appealing way.
  • Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, bringing a collaborative spirit and adaptability to fast-paced projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to layout, alignment, and brand consistency, ensuring polished, professional work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
  • Proficiency in creating interactive animated prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, XD.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and online advertising.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) on a content authoring level.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English.

  • This role requires a native Spanish speaker with intermediate to advanced English proficiency (both written and verbal).
  • We are open to candidates based in Central America, Mexico, or Colombia.
