About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to own and elevate our quality processes.

From manual testing to automated scripts, performance checks to security audits, you’ll ensure everything we build is reliable, beautiful, and user-friendly.
You'll work closely with designers, developers, and product managers, and your work will have a direct impact on tens of thousands of daily users.

Missions

Manual Testing:

Execute comprehensive manual tests to ensure the website meets UI, UX, Accessibility, semantic HTML, and technical SEO standards.
Utilize Figma to validate design elements and ensure consistency with approved designs, working closely with the design team.
Leverage Chrome DevTools to inspect elements, debug, and analyze performance issues.

Task Readiness Verification:

Review tasks and provide detailed feedback to ensure they meet the minimum definition for testability.
Communicate effectively with project managers and developers to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities, firmly addressing issues.

Automated Testing:

Develop, deploy, and maintain End-to-End automated tests using Cypress.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with the development team to ensure continuous quality through periodic and deployment-triggered testing.

Website Auditing and Log Analysis:

Utilize web scraping tools (e.g., Screaming Frog) to perform comprehensive website analyses.
Analyze access and error logs to detect unusual behavior and identify potential bugs.

Performance and Security Testing:

Conduct performance tests to ensure the website user experience does not degrade below CrUX thresholds.
Execute security tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust but unobtrusive application security.

Functionality Checklist Management:

Develop and maintain comprehensive functionality checklists to standardize testing procedures and establish a consistent baseline.
Document test cases and results using both automated and manual methods to ensure traceability and quality control.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure clarity in testing requirements and timely resolution of defects.
Communicate with precision and clarity, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on expectations and outcomes.
Proactively address potential challenges through constructive collaboration and conflict resolution.

Additional Tools & Practices (Nice to Have):

Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integration using tools such as GitLab.
Experience with project management tools such as Trello.
Exposure to additional test automation tools and test case management systems.

✅ 3+ years of QA experience, including manual and automated testing.
