Become an EXpert as an Application Support Team Lead:

Reporting to the IT Director, the Application Support Team Lead plays a critical role in providing technical leadership while ensuring smooth application operations. This position requires a strong balance of in-depth technical expertise and effective team management. The ideal candidate will drive implementations, interact with stakeholders to understand business needs, and deliver solutions that align with current technologies.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

  • Strong technical expertise in application support, troubleshooting, and implementation.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide strategic solutions.
  • Experience with incident management, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of modern IT tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges effectively.
  • A cost-conscious approach to ensure efficient resource allocation while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 6+ years of experience in IT and software application support.
  • Previous experience in an application support leadership role.
  • English proficiency: C1/C2.
  • SQL query skills for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Strong technical documentation and knowledge base development skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and services, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Cloud computing experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and desktop virtualization technologies (Citrix, VMware).
  • Understanding of GitHub and DevOps practices.
  • Strong background in security and compliance related to application support.
  • Ability to coordinate SSO configuration and testing for new applications.
