About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled backend Engineer to help build, update, and maintain our AWS infrastructure.  You will drive innovation, ensure the integration of cutting-edge technologies, and deliver software that meets the highest standards of quality and performance across the lifecycle of all of Inspiren’s devices and platforms.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with operations, sales, and product teams to understand business challenges and develop robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to Deployment Pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop, implement, and maintain our applications: web, mobile and backend
• Integrate Inspiren systems with various EHR systems.
• Analyze software features for performance and make data-driven development decisions.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
• Experience with PostgreSQL (or other relational databases) and DynamoDB.
• Experience writing integration and E2E tests.
• Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to address problems in real-world settings
• A demonstrated ability to work in a team, with excellent skills-sharing capabilities.
• Experience: 5+ years of full stack or backend development experience
• Technical Expertise:
• Programming Proficiency: Expertise backend systems and infrastructure with an emphasis on Typescript, NodeJS, and or React
• Cloud Infrastructure:Proven experience with AWS infrastructure management and Serverless applications, specifically in managing performance, observability, and scalability.
• Databases: Experience with PostgresSQL (or other relational databases) and NoSQL dbs like DynamoDB.
• Security Principles: Understanding of embedded security practices and encryption methodologies.
• Development Processes: Well-versed in the classic TDD development practices
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.
• Start-up experience is a plus.

Details

• The annual salary for this role is between $150,000-$180,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
