Regional Licensing Coordinator

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To assist in processing and maintaining individual and business licenses for company offices within an assigned region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administers the licensing process for the assigned region.
  • Assists with obtaining specific individual licenses for new program implementation.
  • Tracks renewal of existing examiner licenses; updates and maintains examiner license renewals.
  • Works with local operations managers and quality managers ensuring individual required licenses are duly licensed and bonded.
  • Assists in maintaining a database containing the status of individual licenses made available via the Internet and further compliance tracking and reporting.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining a library of resource documents, including copies of current regulations governing licensing, individual specific licensing applications and related materials.
  • Assists operations managers with obtaining local business licenses. 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

Two (2) years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Legal or claims related experience preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment of the claims management industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
