The Distribution Data and Reporting Analyst prepares compensation reports, gathers data from business units, and oversees Google Cloud Platform (GCP) reporting. It also manages plan enhancements and coordinates with vendors (i.e., Varicent). The position also exports GCP files for presentations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present reports of job and variable compensation analysis
  • Evaluate and implement channel analysis tools, techniques, and materials
  • Works with BU to gather data needed for variable compensation analysis, departmental projects
  • Act as Compensation resource to work with GCP team on construction of tables
  • Oversees the design and development of GCP reporting
  • Functional modeling on plan enhancements
  • Works with Field reporting on mutually inclusive items
  • Varicent liaison for plan changes and new plan requirements
  • Export GCP files in order to provide compensation data necessary to construct presentations.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in related business line/field or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Investigating and resolving complex problems
  • Coordinating support activities provided by multiple off-site vendors and internal departments
  • Analyzing, understanding, and articulating financial impacts
  • Designing business unit specific systems
  • Analyzing, testing, documenting, implementing and/or deployment of complex data reporting
  • Researching, testing editing and confirming accuracy of content
  • Utilizing PC software applications (e.g., Windows operating systems, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VISIO, MS Project, Netware, IPM, NT, client/server database management systems, etc.) to format databases, write queries, generate reports, etc.

Knowledge of:

  • Structured system analysis, design and testing
  • Systems development methodologies
  • Project management techniques
  • Microsoft suites (Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Financial Modeling
  • Programming queries and reporting
  • Planning, organizing, and training others on the development and implementation/deployment of technical/financial data

Skills and Ability to:

  • Demonstrate Excel expertise
  • Proficiency in data analysis of complex reports
  • Proficiency in presenting results of large datasets
  • Communicate effectively with others in a work environment and with the public
  • Provide guidance to all levels of staff and management

Preferred Qualifications

Skills and Ability to:

  • Write SQL
  • GCP knowledge

Work Environment

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operation unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership.  This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
