Join our dynamic team at Cencora, where you'll work under the strategic guidance of the Vice President of Sales to drive impactful sales initiatives in your designated geographic region. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and mentor Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Directors, fostering a collaborative environment that champions our consultative sales approach.   • Fiduciary responsibility to the organization’s over arching business goals as well as driving performance of team
  • Advanced competencies in strategic thinking, complex problem solving, cross functional collaboration, ability to navigate complex organizational challenges, make significant decisions at a higher level within an organization Creation of comprehensive long term strategies aligned with company goals, identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Effectively collaborate with multiple departments and teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Executive Communication: Articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to executive leadership stakeholders and diverse audiences
  • Change Leadership - leading organizational change and transformation. Managing change effectively adapting to evolving business needs
  • Advanced problem solving Identify root causes of complex issues, develop innovative solutions and manage high stake decision making
  • Mentorship and Development actively coach and develop talent within team to build future leaders and competencies
  • Industry expertise – Extensive experience and knowledge

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires more than five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

  • Oncology sales experience required
  • Experience in a practice management setting strongly desired
  • High degree of technical knowledge of principles in sales/people management
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; process driven
  • Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking abilities
  • Experience managing mid-sized teams with multiple disciplines
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace
  • Demonstrated history of operating as a business manager
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
  • Excellent presentation skills
