The Content Marketing Strategist II will play a vital role in creating and optimizing content that engages automotive dealers and supports the goals of the Cars Commerce brand. Working closely with cross-functional B2B Marketing teams, you’ll develop content — including landing pages, articles, sales materials, videos, ads, emails, and social posts — infusing each piece with our brand voice and a keen understanding of what drives dealer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Produce clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content that supports key marketing objectives, ensuring each piece resonates with dealers and drives engagement.
     

  • Content Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the most effective content formats and messaging approaches for target audiences. Tailor content type recommendations to achieve optimal outcomes based on audience needs and engagement trends.
     

  • Visual & UX Collaboration: Provide input on visual elements and user experience, working closely with creative teams to produce cohesive, impactful content.
     

  • Cross-Channel Content Execution: Tailor content for various marketing channels, with a focus on driving awareness and adoption of Cars Commerce solutions.
     

  • Performance Focused: Recommend landing page destinations, call-to-action placements, and potential content variations to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
     

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content reflects Cars Commerce’s brand voice, positioning us as a trusted partner to car dealers and staying true to our mission.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing, with experience working in the automotive retail industry a plus.
     

  • Content Creation: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to develop clear, persuasive, and concise messaging across a variety of content types, including landing pages, sales assets, presentations, blogs, video scripts, email, and social copy.
     

  • Creative Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional strategy and creative teams to align visual and written content, with a strong eye for design and UX best practices.
     

  • Attention to Detail: Obsessive about maintaining accuracy, brand voice, and visual consistency across all content.
     

  • Analytical & Outcome-Oriented: Ability to evaluate content performance metrics and suggest refinements to improve engagement and conversion.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools.
     

  • Understanding of SEO, UX, and design principles to enhance content effectiveness.
     

  • Experience with generative AI or other content tools is a plus.

Salary Range

$70,900.00-86,850.00
