Location: Mobile, Harrow

Salary : Up to £45,000 per annum

Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Role Overview

Provide general electrical / mechanical maintenance service and support on Refrigeration / Air Conditioning, heating equipment and associated plant to various properties and Data Centres.

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of a wide range of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRF systems, chillers, and fan coils.

What You’ll Do

  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of plant, equipment and industrial service supplies including:
  • o HVAC Plant and all associated Equipment
  • o Industrial / Commercial Chillers and various split systems
  • o Building management Systems
  • o AHU Plant and associated Equipment
  • To carry out reactive repair tasks on site plant and equipment similar to the above.
  • To undertake all duties in a safe, tidy and responsible manner in accordance with Health & Safety requirements.
  • To ensure that spares and materials are used in a cost-effective manner.
  • To carry out other duties as may reasonably be requested from time to time by site management or the client.
  • To obey client and EMCOR site rules and to maintain a high standard of discipline at all times.
  • To work as an on-call duty engineer as part of a team rota if required.
  • To complete site work order documentation to required site standards.
  • To carry out other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time by EMCOR and client management.
  • - Installation, service, and maintenance of various air conditioning systems.
  • - Fault diagnosis and repair.
  • - Commissioning and testing of new installations.
  • - Ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
  • - Maintaining accurate records and completing all necessary paperwork.
  • - Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • - Working effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • - Promptly respond to urgent maintenance tasks, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • - Conduct thorough site surveys and inspections, identifying potential issues and improvement opportunities
  • - Participate in 24/7 standby duties, providing emergency support as per the roster

Who You’ll Be

  • Solid background within a similar role.
  • Trade Qualifications and level ? Refrigeration Qualifications NVQ/C&G Certificate.
  • Electrically qualified or competent
  • Data Centre experience would be helpful but not prerequisite
  • Refrigerant handling certification
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work System.
  • Undertaken relevant Health and Safety Training. (or willing to undertake relevant training)
  • Ability to sustain effective relationships
  • Undertaken relevant Health and Safety Training. (or willing to undertake relevant training)
  • Some Knowledge of Building Management Systems would be an advantage.
  • - Proven experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
  • - F-Gas certification (essential).
  • - Strong understanding of electrical principles.
  • - Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • - Full UK Driving License.
  • Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • - Experience with specific brands or systems (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba).
  • - Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
  • - Experience with building management systems (BMS).
