Job description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic VP of Sales to lead our sales team and drive Gameplan’s next stage of growth. Our product is proven to deliver results for school districts, and we need a hands-on leader who can scale our sales efforts, optimize our strategy, and expand our reach in the education market.


This role requires someone who is not only a strategic thinker but also a doer—someone who can build and lead high-performing sales teams while actively engaging with decision-makers in school districts. You will take ownership of our existing sales team, recruit and train new salespeople, refine our sales strategy, and represent Gameplan at industry conferences. You will be working closely with our CRO and CEO.


Salary

Base $100 000 - $150 000 + commission and bonus

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Develop and refine Gameplan’s sales strategy to maximize outreach and conversions.
  • Recruit and train top sales talent, leveraging your network to attract skilled professionals.
  • Optimize existing sales processes and introduce best practices to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in school districts.
  • Represent Gameplan at conferences and industry events to promote our platform.
  • Drive market expansion and ensure our sales efforts align with company growth objectives.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading successful sales teams.
  • Strong background in recruiting, training, and managing sales professionals.
  • Established network of qualified salespeople.
  • Ability to travel and represent Gameplan at industry conferences.
  • Must be based in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the education market, preferably K-12.
  • Existing relationships with key stakeholders in school districts.
  • Track record of successfully selling curriculum or learning platforms.
  • Ability to bring experienced salespeople to Gameplan from your existing network.
