Responsibilities

  • In-House Implementation (Highest Priority)
    • Develop and refine the implementation process to onboard US merchants across various verticals.
    • Own the merchant post-sales experience, including the “go-live” phase.
    • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing US-based implementation team.
  • Third-Party Implementation Partner Program (Highest Priority)
    • Design and launch a partner program to expand Base’s onboarding capabilities.
    • Establish program terms and conditions, shape the long-term business model, and drive partner acquisition and training.
  • US Product Improvement (High Priority)
    • Identify and prioritize product features or enhancements to support Base’s growth in the US market.
    • Collaborate with product owners and developers to define requirements and ensure timely, high-quality releases for US users.
  • Self-Service Resources (Medium Priority)
    • Work with the internal content team to maintain an up-to-date and high-quality US Knowledge Base and training materials.
    • Coordinate with the support team to maintain exceptional support standards for US merchants.
Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in ecommerce software development and management.
  • 5+ years of experience building, scaling, and managing technical or implementation teams.
  • Proven track record of success in roles with significant accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of the US ecommerce ecosystem (marketplaces, platforms, WMS/ERP systems, fulfillment services, etc.).
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill technical concepts into clear, accessible language.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Base software.
  • Direct experience implementing ecommerce software products.

The minimum annual base salary for this position if $150,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base.com is a total compensation company. Other forms of compensation, incl. annual bonus and KPI-based cash payouts may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
