The University of Law has undergone incredible growth and diversification over the last 5 years. To meet our ambitious strategic aims, ULaw is undergoing a major transformation programme and we’re looking to recruit a Banner Technical Administrator to join us on our journey.

This role sits within the CORDS Transformation Programme and will contribute to the implementation of the new student information system and associated integrations.


Working remotely (from a UK location) on a fixed term contract until December 2025.


The Banner Technical Administrator will be responsible for implementing the student information system which will support the University's management of the student lifecycle from application through to award. This role will be responsible for carrying out development or configuration work required to meet the business requirements of the University with regards to business workflow, experience cards and report writing in Banner.


As our Banner Technical Administrator, you will:

  • Develop and configure Banner SIS workflows and process
  • Gather and analyse business requirements to design technical flows
  • Perform testing and troubleshoot issues to meet business needs
  • Plan and manage workload, ensuring project milestones are met
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure quality controls are applied


Is this you?:

  • Significant, demonstrable, experience of developing Workflow and Experience applications for large SIS or Software as a Service implementations
  • Experience of software development in a cross functional team environment
  • Ability to work to agreed schedules and plans
  • Experience with workflow automation tools
  • Ability to manage competing demands, identify risks and issues and prioritise work effectively.
  • The ability to adopt and work with technologies, standards and processes already in place at the University.
