ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Junior Application Support Engineer for a leading company in the travel distribution sector.

📌 Location: Chania, Crete or Remote based in Greece 

📍    Working Model: Onsite if you are based in Chania 

🖋️You will be reporting to: Support Center Manager 

What you will do: 

 

As a Junior Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing second-level support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting customers with complex problems. You will collaborate with other technical teams to resolve escalated issues while maintaining the quality of service. 
 
Working Hours: 8:00-16:00 or 14:00-22:00 (Weekly shifts) 

 

 

More specifically: 

• Track, route, and redirect issues to the appropriate resources 
• Walk customers and First Level Support Engineers through the problem-solving process 
• Monitor and report on system performance 

• Troubleshoot and escalate software and hardware issues to network, system administrators, DevOps, DBAdmins or developers 
• Ensure proper documentation and closure of all support requests 

• Availability to work on shifts (night work or public holidays may be required) 
• Recommend procedural improvements 
• Prepare or review technical documentation 
 

 

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 
• Ideally 6 months of experience providing IT support 
• Experience with XML, MySQL (Queries)  

• Overall exposure to programming even from university pr ojects 
• Proficiency in English  
• Customer service orientation 
• Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates 
Preferred skills: 
• Experience in the airline and travel domain 
• Familiarity with tools like MS TFS/VSTS, JIRA, Kibana, and Grafana
