Job Title: Remote Claims Analyst (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,500 - 1,700 USD/month depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm Eastern with 1 hour lunch breaks


Job Overview:

Our client is disrupting a $40B insurance industry by providing merchants a seamless plug-and-play platform from which to offer product insurance. Their platform not only drives revenue for brands, but also improves customer experience and trust in warranty programs.

As a Tier 1 Claims Analyst, you will be the first point of contact in the claims processing workflow. You'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate data entry and efficient processing of initial claims, helping their customers get the support they need quickly and effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process and adjudicate claims in a timely manner, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Process incoming claims through our proprietary claims platform
  • Manage claim workflows, including coordination with third-party servicers and retailers
  • Review and validate technical work orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter and maintain detailed claim data in our systems
  • Order replacement products and parts as needed
  • Prioritize and promote favorable outcomes for consumers while aligning with company financial objectives
  • Communicate with customers to gather additional information when required
  • Track claim status and maintain organized digital files
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise with servicers and retailers to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth claims management processes
  • Support the broader claims team with administrative tasks



Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in insurance claims, customer service, or data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Basic technical understanding of consumer products
  • Ability to multitask effectively and wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional prioritization skills with ability to quickly shift focus as needed
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with computer systems and typing
  • Customer service orientation with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Insurtech (use of technology to innovate and improve the efficiency of the insurance industry) or warranty services
  • Experience with claims management software
  • Experience with Zendesk and Slack
