About The Position

We are looking for a passionate, motion-oriented animator with a heart for storytelling. If you are an experienced cinematic animator looking for an opportunity to join our team, send your CV and portfolio!

Responsibilities

  • Creating character animation for in-game cinematics, dialogues
  • Creating facial animation and lip-sync
  • Working with motion capture data
  • Working with actors on mocap set
  • Collaborate with cinematic artists on layouts, storyboards
  • Close collaboration with cinematic director and gameplay animation team
  • Collaborate with graphic artists, level designers and gameplay programmers
  • Be able to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
  • Share their knowledge and mentor other team members
  • Work with the tool and engine teams in order to improve the game design workflow

Requirements

  • At least 1 shipped title or 2 years experience in animation/post-production
  • Knowledge of motion capture, facial animation
  • Understanding of film language, cinematography basics
  • Demonstrating strong composition feel, action continuity and camera framing choices
  • Layout and camera animation skills
  • Basic understanding of level design and game mechanics
  • Basic knowledge of UE4 (sequencer)
  • Good knowledge of Motion Builder, Maya or any other 3D animation software
  • Being able to communicate fluently in English
  • At least 2 shipped titles or 5 years experience in post-production

BONUS POINTS

  • Previous experience with game cutscenes creation workflow
  • Experience in CG post-production, cinematics, advertising, film production
  • Character animation skills, understanding of motion capture technology
  • Technical knowledge of UE4
  • Previous experience in level lighting in UE4
