Job description

Location Details: Romania / Serbia - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Website Builder to join our website design team and help our customers take their online presence to the next level. Working in a fast-paced, creative environment, you will be designing websites for a wide range of industry and business types. Working here, you will get to know the whole journey of creating a website, from the moment you buy the domain to the point where the website is published.

What you'll get to do...

  • Build dynamic websites using a Content Management System
  • Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP within a WordPress environment
  • Research, install, configure, and troubleshoot plugins
  • Research and select appropriate image content as needed
  • Edit and optimize images in Photoshop
  • Thoroughly review your own work for inconsistencies or errors before submission
  • Serve as an empathetic problem solver who prioritise customer needs
  •  Oversee task progress and coordinate with teammates via project management tools

Your experience should include...

  • Proficiency with website builders (Divi, Elementor, Visual Composer, Beaver Builder)
  • Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, advanced HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP
  • Keen attention to detail regarding consistency and alignment
  • Excellent spoken English skills
  • Practical experience with various CMS platforms and strong overall  digital/technical aptitude
  • Familiarity with core design principles such as color theory, flow, balance,  proportion, and spacing, plus awareness of usability best practices
  • Ability to carefully interpret client briefs, adopt feedback, and adjust accordingly

You might also have...

  • Experience with Ecommerce (WooCommerce or other ecommerce environments)
  • SSH and WP CLI knowledge is a plus
  • A portfolio showcasing your websites or web design projects

We've got your back...  We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), bonus/incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in our employee stock purchase plan, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave. GoDaddy’s benefits vary based on individual role and location and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.

We also embrace our diverse culture and offer a range of Employee Resource Groups (Culture). Have a side hustle? No problem. We love entrepreneurs! Most importantly, come as you are and make your own way.
