Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Operations Officer to join their team.

Location: Remote- Port City, Sri Lanka
Salary: Competitive + Benefits


How will you make an impact in this role?
The Role:

  • Execution of Financial Operations for acquiring entities in TP group, including merchant settlements and reconciliation 
  • Multi-currency merchant reconciliations 
  • Accounts and other reconciliations 
  • Assist customer service with client queries 
  • Provide assist for accounting and control functions 
  • Periodic reporting internally and externally

What We Expect of You, Day To Day:

  • Execute daily processing of financial operations transactions to complete timely and accurate payments to merchants
  • Daily merchant reconciliations
  • Reconciliations and reporting for alternative payment methods 
  • Visa and Mastercard reconciliations 
  • Negative Balance setoffs against merchants’ payments or bank receipts 
  • Investigations on merchants’ returned payments 
  • Reconciliations for Inward Payments  
  • Calculation of DCC, FEXCO and other third-party commissions as required 
  • Execute safeguarding calculations 
  • Liaison with Treasury manager for weekly cash calculations 

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English and Via Standard desktop tools
  • Ability to work with data using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Payments or banking experience would be considered as an asset 
  • Demonstrates an attention to detail for accuracy and completeness 
  • Ability to work alone and initiate process improvement 
  • An excellent communicator who is self-motivated, empathetic and a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment 

  • High levels of personal and professional accountability and integrity
