The Business Intelligence Analyst will support McKesson Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services (PSaS) Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Practice Advisory Services through advanced analytics. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for generating actionable insights and analysis to meet the evolving needs of GPO customers and stakeholders and facilitate the organization's growth. Key areas of focus include GPO contract performance and trends, pharmaceutical manufacturer segmentation and contracting strategies, as well as physician reimbursement and clinical trends.

**HOUSTON AREA BASED**

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement analytics, reporting, and visualization tools to effectively address inquiries from stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage ad hoc requests from stakeholders and lead large, complex, or cross-functional projects.
  • Conduct and support data-driven analyses to define and measure operational, financial trends, and strategic insights related to McKesson’s GPO and Provider Solutions Organization.
  • Design, maintain, and distribute customer-facing and internal dashboards that track GPO and membership key performance indicators.
  • Support GPO operational functions by managing internal/external reporting and tracking key performance indicators.
  • Perform data analytics to support strategic planning initiatives and present findings to customers.
  • Coordinate with solution architects on the team to enhance automation and visibility.

Minimum Requirement

Degree and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree required

Critical Skills

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven proficiency in analyzing and manipulating large data sets, with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite; expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI; familiarity with back-end data architecture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks efficiently.

Salary: 83,400.00 - 111,200.00 - 139,000.00 USD Annual
