Job description

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Revenue Cycle Management this role focuses on contract configuration within Salesforce and Athena Health, overseeing change control processes, and driving strategic implementations. They have a deep understanding of RCM systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • People Management & Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system analysts and administrators, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Ensure team alignment with departmental and organizational goals while promoting a collaborative work environment.
  •  Contract Configuration Management:
  • Lead the configuration and management of contracts within Salesforce and Athena Health to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to understand contractual obligations and translate them into system requirements.
  • Change Control Oversight:
  • Develop and maintain change control processes to ensure system integrity and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Oversee change requests, assess impacts, and coordinate approval processes across relevant stakeholders.
  • Strategic Implementation:
  • Drive the strategic implementation of system enhancements and upgrades to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness within the RCM department.
  • Work closely with IT and vendor partners to ensure timely execution of system changes and integrations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes to foster adoption and maximize system utilization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and change control processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on system performance, change management activities, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

  • Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field experience
  • 8+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations, systems administration, or change control, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • 8+ years of system maintenance experience with Athena Health, Epic, ECW, Salesforce applications
  • 3+ EDI and payor connection
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Athena Health platforms from the backend.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing system implementations and change control processes.

  • Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  • Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
    Zone A: $149,450 - $211,100 + equity + benefits
    Zone B: $164,395 - $232,210 + equity + benefits
    Zone C: $179,340 - $253,320 + equity + benefits
    Zone D: $194,285 - $274,430 + equity + benefits
