Job Description

We’re seeking a tech-savvy and results-oriented Business Development Representative to spearhead our growth initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced technology platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, CRM systems) to identify and engage potential clients in the federal construction sector
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to navigate through gatekeepers and connect directly with key decision-makers
  • Craft and deliver compelling pitches that highlight our unique value proposition of leasing specialized construction managers for federal projects
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects, ensuring consistent business growth and employment for our expert staff
  • Collaborate closely with our construction management team to gain deep insights into project requirements and capabilities, enabling precise matching with client needs
  • Leverage VOIP systems and other communication tools to conduct effective outbound calling campaigns and maintain client relationships
  • Contribute to the company’s strategic growth by identifying emerging market trends and new business opportunities in the federal construction space
  • Provide regular, detailed reports on sales activities, lead generation efforts, and conversion rates to drive data-informed decision-making


Requirements
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in construction, engineering, or related technical fields
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM systems and modern sales technology tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and negotiating
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Keen understanding of the construction industry, with particular emphasis on federal government projects (highly desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and translate them into compelling value propositions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and sales best practices
