About the role:

This position will provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. The ideal candidate should be passionate about their work, have a proven track record of success in the workplace and possess excellent problem-solving skills. 

The successful intern must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn new tasks. Must be able to juggle multiple projects at once while still meeting deadlines. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, takes the initiative, and is eager to contribute to our organization. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency and performance of the NMGA team. 
  • Conduct research on various topics related to our products and services. 
  • Assist with plan benefit marketing cycles by collecting data , helping the team to review carrier quotes for accuracy, responding to carrier/local office communications. 
  • Support requests for benchmarking data and assist in the development of reference tools.
  • Create detailed reports based on analysis of local office implementation and marketing cycles. 
  • Organize documents as well as coordinate meetings, project status reports and MS Teams workflows.
  • Support positive relationships with local offices, carriers, and software vendor. 

  • Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.
  • Written communication—the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
