Job Description
A bit about this role:
Devoted Health's creative team is seeking a talented Content Strategist/Copywriter to play a key role in developing impactful campaigns for our members, prospects, and partners. In this position, you will contribute to writing diverse marketing materials and be an essential part of shaping the creative strategy across our channels.

Your responsibilities and impact will include:
Developing strategy and content for marketing materials in different media channels, including direct mail, publications, print collateral, internal communications, out-of-home ads, flyers, brochures, SEO articles, social media, digital assets and more.
Developing and executing strategies to drive social media membership growth and increase audience engagement across platforms.
Collaborating with internal teams to refine messaging for both external and internal audiences.
Partnering with designers to ensure your copy complements the layout and aligns with the overall creative strategy.
Building strong relationships with in-house subject matter experts and compliance to ensure materials are accurate, helpful, and on-message.
Analyzing marketing results and using insights to drive new creative iterations and campaigns.
Researching and writing branded content that educates our audience on Medicare while staying aligned with our overall brand strategy.
Editing and simplifying industry-specific content to make it clear, accessible, and engaging for diverse audiences across different channels.
Being open to feedback and revisions to continuously improve the quality of your writing.
Required skills and experience:
*Note: Portfolio/Writing samples and cover letter are required. Applications without both will not be considered.
6-10 years' experience as a copywriter, preferably in an agency or corporate environment; experience in the medical field is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a similar field
Creative problem-solver, capable of considering and pushing the big picture while tackling the nitty gritty
Experience defining creative strategy as well as execute on creative briefs
Self-starter comfortable working independently and with a team
Fast learner who isn’t afraid to ask questions and scrub in to help
Proven experience taking complex topics and explaining them in simple marketing assets
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Familiar with using a style guide (AP Stylebook, in-house, etc.)
Plain language, copyediting and editing skills also a plus
Healthcare experience not required, but research skills and a tenacity to learn are a must
This position is remote, but candidate must work on a schedule that aligns with East Coast hours
Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
