Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Instructional System Designer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide instructional design and development for an asynchronous eLearning course.

This is a casual position on a part-time, as-needed basis so hours will vary weekly.

What You'll Be Doing:

The candidate must work in harmony with the Subject matter experts and other support staff.  The person will work independently to accomplish the goals of the projects assigned timely and within assigned budget parameters. The individual will report to the Project Manager on work status at regular intervals.

• Design and develop compelling training materials and other deliverables within the framework of the project goals.
• Analyzed course content and determines components to enhance student learning experience.
• Adhere to a work ethic that embraces tight deadlines and reliability.
• Communicate comfortably with managers and teammates.
• Assists with the creation of learning objectives, assessments, interactivities, and participant workbooks.
• Coordinates extensively with subject matter experts.
• Tests and debugs deliverables for quality assurance.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent degree (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years’ experience in instructional design for eLearning
• Knows standard eLearning development tools and software (Articulate, Storyline and Presenter, Adobe Captivate).
• Comprehensive knowledge of learning theory, training and development practices and methods for adult learning.

Salary Range:

$21.88 - $38.27
