Job description

Overview:

Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering firm specializing in the delivery of infrastructure projects across education & facilities, transportation, energy, and gas sectors is hiring! Our team is looking for a skilled CAD Technician to join our transportation engineering sector to support project delivery through CAD production.  The ideal candidate will have five years of CAD drafting experience, with a strong focus on transportation projects. This role is required to utilize Civil3D software to create detailed and accurate plans, drawings, and schematics to support the planning and execution of transportation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with engineers and project managers to develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and plans.
  • Prepares and edits plans, profiles, sections, and details from rough sketches, redline mark-ups, and verbal instruction from team members.
  • Ensures presentation and overall drawing appearance and clarity meet CAD and project team requirements.
  • Compiles, plots and scans drawings to applicable electronic standards.
  • Completes drawings and project responsibilities within acceptable timelines.
  • Utilizes Civil3D and AutoCAD to create and modify design drawings, schematics, and layouts.
  • Ensures all drawings and plans meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Reviews own work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains organized project files and documentation per established project protocols.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience proficiently utilizing Civil3D and AutoCAD
  • Completion of a CAD Technical education program.
  • Solid understanding of Civil3D design elements such as surfaces, corridors, and pipe networks.
  • Competency, accountability, and personal commitment to deliver quality work.
  • The ability and desire to work as part of a team.
  • Clear and collaborative communication skills.
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in CAD drafting.

  

Salary Range: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour ($83.200 - $124,800 annually)

Work Location: Remote or Los Angeles, CA

Work Environment: Remote based on experience and qualifications.
