Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security FS Lead to drive our cybersecurity strategy and execution within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cyber security, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and a proven track record in leading complex security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies tailored to the financial services industry.
    • Lead and manage cybersecurity teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
    • Provide thought leadership on emerging security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Engagement:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering high-value security solutions and insights.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in client organizations.
    • Lead client presentations, workshops, and meetings to communicate security strategies and solutions effectively.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee the delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address complex security challenges and requirements.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Provide expertise in security architecture, threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response.
    • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to financial services.
    • Implement and monitor security controls, frameworks, and compliance standards specific to the financial sector.
  • Innovation & Improvement:

    • Drive innovation in cybersecurity solutions and methodologies to address evolving threats and industry needs.
    • Continuously assess and enhance security practices and tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Contribute to the development of new service offerings and capabilities within the cybersecurity domain.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Extensive experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on the financial services sector.
    • Proven experience in leading large-scale security projects and teams.
    • Strong understanding of financial industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX).
  • Skills:

    • Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
    • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
