Job description

Title: Helpdesk Analyst
Location: POB 327; 1126 Solomon Blatt Blvd., Denmark, SC 29042 - REMOTE ROLE
Duration: 6 Months

Requirement:
Map to Network Printers:
  • TCP/IP Direct
  • Print Server URI
  • Context Menu > Printer Properties > Ports tab
  • How to create Print Queues via Windows Server
  • DHCP Reservations by MAC Address
  • DNS Records creations/troubleshooting (A, CNAME records)

Scan-to-Email:
  • Traditional SMTP Server
  • Client Scan to Cloud Email from Gallery Apps

Installing/Troubleshooting Software:
  • Downloading executable
  • From Server Network Folder Share

Password Resets:
  • On-Prem AD (Active Directory)
  • Azure
  • admin.office.com

Network Folders/Sharing:
  • How to create
  • Security tab (Groups)
  • Sharing tab (Permissions)

Employee Offboarding/Onboarding accounts (new + disabling):
  • On-Prem AD (Active Directory)
  • Azure/Office365
  • User-Objects > Context Menu > Properties > Attributes tab

Internet Connectivity troubleshooting ie:
  • Connecting to WIFI
  • Ipconfig
  • Understanding of VLANs (i.e based on 3rd octet of IP Address, can tell which IP range/Subnet the device is currently associated with / connected to)

Printing ID badges (I created a server that, even remotely, could still send Badge ID Print jobs):
  • Software training will be provided, just needs to understand the high-level general concept of creating a new database record, and how to take pictures via a USB Webcam)

Software Training i.e how to use:
  • VPN
  • Microsoft (both Cloud/Web + Desktop) i.e
  • Outlook
  • Teams

Troubleshooting Email:
  • Delete/Recreate Outlook Profile (desktop)
  • Add/Remove Email Accounts

  • Forwarding
  • User Mailbox vs Shared Mailbox

Blocking SPAM i.e:
  • End-User Outlook client (i.e Junk context menu)
  • Exchange Admin Portal (Mail Flow > Rules)
  • Microsoft Security/Quarantine Admin Portal
  • Cisco Umbrella
  • Cisco SMA/ESA
