Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team in a pivotal role managing the financial operations of our diverse technology businesses. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, handling financial records for our server manufacturing and cybersecurity divisions. As our Bookkeeper, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial data, preparing crucial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records for multiple business entities using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including recording and categorizing financial transactions, expenses, and revenues
  • Reconcile bank statements and process payroll entries, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, providing insights for business strategy
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for tax filings and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Generate invoices and quotes for clients, supporting the sales process and cash flow management
  • Collaborate with company leadership to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making
  • Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping processes, continuously improving financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices, staying updated on industry standards


Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping and accounting experience
  • Proficiency in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, with the ability to navigate and optimize both systems
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, quoting, collections, and bank reconciliation processes
  • Solid grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and fundamental accounting concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members across different departments
  • High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial records
  • Experience working with US-based companies and familiarity with US accounting standards preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
