About Dura’s Finance team

Dura’s Finance team is an integral part of the decision-making process at the company, providing key insights and recommendations to leaders, up to and including CEO and Board of Directors. Dura Finance is embedded in all aspects of the organization, from due diligence of new acquisitions and integration through ongoing management and execution of portfolio companies. Finance team members also engage regularly with key institutional investors to ensure long-term value creation targets are on track.

Given Dura’s rapid pace of growth and the Finance team’s involvement at all levels of the organization, all team members, regardless of role or title, are expected to “get their uniform dirty” and be proactive, trusted advisors to all team members.

Role Summary

As the Senior Financial Analyst for the Financial Operations team, you will serve as the thought partner to key operational CEOs, playing a crucial role in shaping the financial landscape of each portfolio company under the Sales Enablement segment. Your accountability extends to crafting and executing comprehensive bottom-up financial plans in close partnership with respective leaders.

The ultimate goal is to guide the company toward sustained profitability and generate long-term value creation from the portfolio companies.

 Your Contributions

• Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Accountable for creating the detailed financial forecast for each portfolio company, from bookings to free cash flow.
• Partnering with the operational CEOs to create and report on the key KPIs needed to manage the business.
• Guide resource management across the portfolio of companies to ensure financial targets are being met.
• Owning cross-functional projects that drive improved financial performance across the portfolio of companies.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various departments and projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Your Experience

• A university degree in finance or accounting and at least 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
• A certification from a recognized professional accounting or financial association (CPA - or CFA) is a plus.
• Ability to perform and be adaptable in a fast-changing SaaS environment.
• Experience in establishing planning processes from the ground up incorporating detailed KPIs and financial outputs (sales bookings through free cash flow) and driving accountability with leaders on a regular cadence.
• Proven ability to drive accountability with leaders on a regular cadence.
• Demonstrated a high sense of ownership, with the ability to drive change in the business and lead cross-functional programs when required.
• Strong communication skills, adept at synthesizing financial targets into simple and clear operational objectives for business leaders to execute against.
• Ability to create and manage complex financial models in Excel, leveraging other business intelligence tools as needed.
