Job description

This is a remote position.

Full-time: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM PDT (11:00 PM to 8:00 AM PHT) with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (8 hours per day/40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
  • Answer patients inquiries via dialer provided
  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel and take accurate messages when necessary
  • Schedule appointments and ensure that the clinic's schedule is well organized and up-to-date
  • Verify patients' insurance and process billing and insurance claims as required
  • Maintain and update patient records and ensure that they are kept confidential
  • Coordinate appointments between patients and health care providers, and handle appointment reminders
  • Assist with any other tasks required to maintain efficient clinic operations
  • Managing patient records and other administrative tasks


Requirements
  • Previous experience in a medical clinic or health care environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes is an asset
  • Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
