Position Overview:

As a digital communication and content expert, plans and executes innovative Sutter Health brand campaigns and content programs across a spectrum of social media platforms, networks, review channels, listening tools, and emerging applications. Promotes interactive consumer dialogue to elevate the brand, build awareness, and drive engagement along the consumer journey with attraction, acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs. Balances the business aspects of social media marketing with consumer insights, trending content, industry news and advances in technology to develop and craft relevant storytelling strategies. Serves as the social channel expert for the brand marketing team, consulting across service line and segment campaigns as Sutter Health expands it digital reach into targeted audiences and markets.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Business Administration, Communications, Creative/Graphic Design, Economics, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations (PR), Visual Communications, or related field
 


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years recent relevant experience.



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Deep understanding of the quickly-evolving digital and social media environments; including managing a well-established social media presence that demonstrates the ability to synthesize emerging trends and make them impactful for current and future customer engagements.

Expert knowledge of Yelp, social trends, current events, user behavior, and industry topics as it relates to driving ROI for online business with the ability to quickly grasp the implications of those trends and translate into strategic recommendations.

Advanced knowledge of digital and traditional marketing, business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B), communications planning, corporate identity and reputation management.

Business acumen and exceptional analytic skills with the proven ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems and to meet customer-driven business objectives.

Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex or sensitive information while building consensus.

Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop; social media publishing and content management tools, including In-depth knowledge and working experience with social listening, moderation, review, and engagement platforms – Sprinklr, BrandWatch, Conversocial, Spredfast, Simply Measured, Percolate, Netbase, Facebook, Crimson Hexagon and others;

Integrate best practices, data analytics and research identify target market opportunities and to drive messaging.

Manage, prioritize and drive multiple projects in an ever-changing environment to deliver quality products and services on-time and on-budget.

Identify and solve complex problems, generate actionable recommendations, and make informed decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information while providing new perspectives on existing solutions.

Build collaborative working relationships with peers, other departments, stakeholders and vendors to achieve marketing goals and corporate objectives.

Pay Range is $48.72 to $73.08 / hour. North Carolina Pay Range is $43.85 to $65.78 / hour.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
