Program/Project Manager – Vendor Platform Implementation

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Program/Project Manager to lead a high-priority vendor platform implementation within the payments space, specifically tailored for healthcare payors and B2B ACH payment processing. This role demands a proactive leader with a proven ability to drive complex projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical specialists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless software configuration, system integration, data flow management, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Assume full accountability for the implementation’s success, including timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Timeline Management: Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring on-time completion of all milestones.
• Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across SMEs, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align goals and resolve challenges.
• Execution: Oversee software configuration, system integration, and data flow processes to meet project requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve roadblocks proactively to keep the project on track.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the platform is rigorously tested and meets business and operational requirements prior to go-live.

Required Experience

• Proven experience leading complex vendor platform implementations, ideally within technology or financial services.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to independently drive and execute projects from start to finish.
• Familiarity with software configuration, system integration, and data flow processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) and workflow platforms.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Preferred: PMP certification or similar credentials (not required).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• Minimum of 7+ years in program/project management, with strong preference for healthcare expertise.
• Extensive experience in the healthcare/payor sector, especially in payment workflows or vendor platform implementations.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
• Skilled at navigating matrixed organizations and managing projects across siloed teams.
• Familiarity with ACH payments, healthcare reimbursement, or payment systems is a significant advantage.
