THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and highly motivated Sr. Manager, Fulfillment and Distribution to join our growing Supply Chain team. With our customer at the center of everything we do, this essential role will ensure that available data is being used to guide decision-making, process improvements, and KPI tracking while holding our Service Providers accountable. This role will be wearing many hats while working across cross-functional teams, with a strong focus on the transportation of our orders to our AG1 customer. Additionally, this role serves as a direct contact point for our Service Providers, Finance, Marketing, and the internal Customer Happiness Team.
The ideal candidate is well organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities. This person is a creative problem solver who loves data and will provide key insights, and offer fresh perspectives, enabling senior leaders to make sound decisions and provide strategic direction to the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and drive key analytics across the final mile small parcel processes, analyzing the financial impact of logistical processes and proposed changes to determine maximum efficiency in terms of routing, transportation modes, and resources while continuing to meet customer requirements.
- Manage and elevate all parcel delivery operations and ensure meet or exceed customer expectations for delivery.
- Manage parcel carrier and 3pl relationships ensuring consistent productive communication and sound data-based decisions.
- Determine and drive to fruition key initiatives based on sound analytics and data.
- Own and deliver measurable service and cost targets that deliver to our global objectives.
- Help develop overall AG1 parcel network strategy.
- Drive critical parcel carrier migrations, including owning data integrity and acting as the key contract for testing and launching.
- Lead team that is the direct contact for Customer Happiness Day to day issue resolution, with key wherewithal to determine prioritization and experience to recommend quick solutions.
- Serve as a data expert team member with functional core knowledge of all AG1 small parcel operations and the ability to identify issues quickly and solve on the spot.
- Master data flow processes and drive continual improvement initiatives to streamline data flow and order management.
- Manage and lead a team of best-in-class analysts that actively manage performance reporting, communication, and project measurements.
- Oversee the service of small parcel and 3PL providers and consider / propose improvements in partners provisions to generate operational improvements.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure all projects are clearly measurable.
- Own consistent KPI improvements and present to leadership trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct market and industry research, develop operational plans to address issues and hedge risks caused by market or policy changes if needed.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Build / Maintain strong relationships with Customer Happiness, Tech, Data Analytics, Project Team, Finance, 3PLs, Parcel Carriers and Supply Chain Ops.
- Create reports and provide analytical insights to the Supply Chain team, and AG1 Leadership, that will inform on future project justifications (ROI).
- Utilize best in class analytic tools and act as a master lead in data analysis.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years of experience with consumer products in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer and/or CPG highly preferred.
- 4+ years managing delivery solutions and small parcel operations.
- Ability to drive multiple initiatives, while also leading with clear prioritization
- Intuitive and highly experienced in working with multiple fulfillment centers and carriers
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Experience in analyzing and improving logistics/supply chain data, information and processes and communicating findings effectively.
- Bachelor’s Degree along with Supply Chain Management certification is preferred.
- A curious, detail oriented, independent, and humble learner willing to push, test, fail, learn, reiterate and share.
- A dedicated believer in delivering a premium Customer experience every time.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage productive and trusting relationships with business partners.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, good IT skills and ERP/MRP systems beneficial
- Excellent English communication skills – Verbal and Written, fluency in one or more foreign languages is an asset (not essential)
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a high-energy environment and ability to take initiative
- Adept in working under pressure, maintaining accuracy and keeping to deadlines

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $111,000.00 - $134,000.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
