We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our growing Implementation and Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line technical support across our entire customer base.

Business Function:

Lenvi Riskfactor are one of the leading global providers of analytical software to the commercial finance industry. We provide quality software and services to a high-profile international client base, including many major banks and commercial lenders.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the Implementation Manager in project and support tasks.
  • Provide training to members of the implementation team for the Riskfactor suite of products.
  • Provide support for Riskfactor Technical Consultants to develop client implementation and upgrades and hotfixes.
  • Create and maintain process and project documentation and templates.
  • Review team operating procedures for opportunities for enhancement and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support for the other members of Implementation and Support team, with customer support cases.
  • Provide technical support for the Lenvi Riskfactor applications for all existing customers, including; remote meeting, email and telephone support, and (occasionally) site visits.
  • Work within customers’ Service Level Agreements; satisfying predefined response times, resolution times, and escalation paths.
  • Log and track all Support Cases using Halo Service Management helpdesk.
  • Create, test and deliver hotfix and minor technical changes to customers, often working within customers’ own strictly defined change control processes.
  • Basic technical consultancy and troubleshooting, including; data analysis, data integrity checking, and system performance analysis.
  • Customise / configure the Lenvi Riskfactor product to meet clients’ requirements.
  • Carry out system, function and regression testing, using manual and automated test scripts.
  • Identify and log defects via a defect tracking system (Halo and Microsoft Azure DevOps).
  • Create detailed test plans, execute test scripts and document results.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes:

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours:
  • Recent experience using Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and later), and Transact-SQL (T-SQL). The successful candidate will proficient in T-SQL, with demonstrable ability to write complex queries using joins, aggregate functions, etc.
  • Experience in managing and configuring Windows Server (2016 and later).
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills. A logical, methodical approach to problem solving is essential.
  • Exposure to Microsoft IIS, version 8, and above.
  • Experience of supporting software within a Windows networked environment, including Active Directory, Group Policy and relevant security and encryption technologies such as SSL / TLS.
  • Desirable to have experience with creating and debugging PowerShell scripts.
  • Desirable to have experience with Azure DevOps, including deployment Pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident, professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently on client projects
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work within defined SLAs.
  • Experience of supporting production systems, complying with structured change-control procedures, and handling customer-sensitive (financial) data.
  • Prepared to occasionally travel both in the UK and less occasionally abroad. 
  • Must be able to work proactively as part of a small team.
