About The Role

We’re looking for an Art Director (Parental Leave Cover) to lead our overall art direction and ensure that our visual identity is seamlessly expressed throughout our end-to-end product experience.

⏳ 1-Year Contract | 📅 Start Date: June 1st

What You'll Do
  • Define and maintain Blinkist’s visual direction, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to implement and refine our visual language.
  • Work alongside product designers to enhance usability, accessibility, and delight.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align art direction and brand expression across different touchpoints (though you won’t be responsible for marketing asset production).
  • Push creative boundaries while ensuring consistency and scalability in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Extensive and proven experience in brand design, preferably for digital products.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work (applications without portfolio won’t be considered).
  • Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments—ideally in a consumer-facing tech company.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build cohesive visual identities for a variety of use cases.
