Opportunity

The Training and Enablement Manager role is responsible for developing and maintaining training programs for employees, customers, and partners.  This includes creating onboarding materials, product enablement resources, and customer training curricula.  The role also works with cross-functional teams to ensure that training materials are up-to-date and aligned with product changes.  

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team currently consisting of a Technical Instructional Designer and a Trainer and Learning Consultant, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Responsible for varying programs that span internal employee onboarding, internal product enablement, customer training, and partner training 
  • Develop and maintain internal onboarding curriculum, including presentations, guides, video tutorials, internal documentation, and self-paced elearning modules.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, technical documentation, and marketing teams to align on upcoming product changes and training needs. 
  • Develop and maintain the training process, methodology, and resources for both UJET’s direct customer base and Google’s CCaaS customer base, ensuring a scalable and effective approach.
  • Host customer training kickoff calls and collaborate with stakeholders to develop customized training plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the technical documentation team to integrate training content into the Support Center, ensuring customers have on-demand access to learning materials.
  • Develop training resources (internal documentation, elearning, videos, ILT talk tracks, curricula, etc.) to support internal teams. 
  • Lead the development of elearning content for strategic partners, including managing the end-to-end process from project initiation to final delivery, ensuring high-quality and effective training materials.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience developing training content within an LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Over 2 years of experience managing a department or team
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
  • Familiarity with key tools like Camtasia, Audiate, Wellsaid, 360learning, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, and Trello), Canva, Google Suite, Vimeo, and Salesforce
  • Excellent project management skills for the purpose of prioritizing multiple training curriculums that are necessary for effective self-paced learning by customers, partners, and internal staff.
  • Proven expertise in curriculum development, designing effective and engaging learning paths tailored to different learning styles and objectives for both internal teams and customers.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, ensuring that training content is designed to be both engaging and effective, fostering retention and practical application of the material.
  • Call center or technical support experience a plus
  • Business travel not expected, except for occasional team building opportunities
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
