ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor that specializes in creating and editing videos for e-commerce brands. You’ll be working with a modern e-commerce brand to create visually-stunning, eye-catching, and high-quality content that captures attention and increases engagement. You’ll need to have exceptional video editing and design skills with full English fluency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit videos to create high-quality and effective content (social media ads, reels, animations, etc.) for various channels/platforms such as social media (Instagram, YouTube), landing pages, websites, and more
  • Edit raw footage, add special effects, transitions, and sound design to create engaging content
  • Take full ownership of video editing projects, from conceptualization to visual execution
  • Maintain and ensure consistent branding across all materials and platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and execute on video concepts that align with the brand’s business and marketing goals
  • Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience as a video editor for an e-commerce brand
  • Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
  • Ability to create both short- and long-form video content for digital audiences
  • Excellent eye for visual aesthetics and current social media trends
  • Professional fluency in English with top-tier written, reading, and speaking skills
  • Permanent access to a computer with reliable and high-speed Internet connection
  • Ability to work in any US time zone, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
  • Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift
