Retail Merchandising Coordinator
Loaction : Remote 
Duration : 5+ Months

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced merchandising coordinator to join our Retail Channel team to drive expansion of Square hardware and products globally. The Merchandising Coordinator will primarily support our Global Channel Marketing team in the successful execution of new product launches.

Role Location: We want employees to reside where they feel most creative and productive. This position is based in the U.S. but will support Global programs spanning across North America, Australia, Japan, and Europe. With the majority of the U.S-based team working in Pacific Standard Time, a west-coast based candidate is preferred but not required.


Key responsibilities include:
 

  • Supporting day-to-day vendor communications throughout the display maturation process.
  • Coordination with internal Supply and Ops teams on hardware requirements for displays.
  • Obtaining and maintaining retailer ship lists.
  • Securing vendor quotes for installation services.
  • Raising purchase orders (POs) and any associated VERs.
  • Scheduling installations in coordination with RPM and Vendors.
  • Verifying proof of execution for approximately 2,500 store installations.
  • Auditing interactive hardware to ensure proper installation and store registration.
  • Ensuring all smart tags (QR codes) are correctly registered by store.
  • Aligning and developing frameworks to measure ROI.
Skills:

Qualifications:
 

  • 3+ years business to business sales, account management or retail marketing experience, preferably with Best Buy, Walmart, regional electronics retailers, or global equivalents.
  • Agency & vendor management experience; working with display & creative vendors, merchandising field teams, and strong knowledge of fundamental merchandising processes 
  • High proficiency in project management with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and program timelines. 
  • Acute attention to detail, dynamic, solutions-oriented, and excellent communication (written and verbal) required.
  • Strong proficiency in Google sheets + slides and MS Excel.
  • Strong history of supporting successful NPI at new and existing retailers
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
