Sr. Manager, Supply Chain

A Supply Chain Senior Manager oversees the entire supply chain operation, strategically leading and managing procurement, inventory control, logistics, distribution, and transportation to optimize efficiency, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery, while aligning with company goals and market demands; they identify and resolve bottlenecks, implement process controls and improvements. Additionally collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, sourcing strategies, and logistics network design.
• Operational Management: Lead day-to-day supply chain operations, overseeing procurement, supplier management, production scheduling, warehousing, and distribution center activities.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like delivery time, inventory levels, cost per unit, and customer satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Cost Optimization: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, optimize transportation routes, and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain.
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain disruptions, develop contingency plans, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
• Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing supply chain team, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of supply chain initiatives.
• Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement new supply chain technologies and systems to improve visibility and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Extensive experience in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing large teams and complex projects
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting to identify trends and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Expertise in supply chain management software and systems
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills.
