Job description

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Business Administrator role is crucial for supporting our business operations by empowering end-users and enhancing our HR systems environment. This position will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ADP Human Resource Information System (HRIS) among others. This role will support HR processes, data management, and reporting, ensuring the system meets the organization's needs and complies with all relevant regulations. Therefore, this position requires a blend of technical expertise and a passion for user satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with end-users and executive management to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing expert technical support and developing tailored solutions to optimize their HR systems experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Administration: Manage and maintain the ADP HRIS as well as others, including user access, security settings, and system configurations.
  • System Enhancement & Development: Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the ADP and other HR systems environments through development tasks as well as other technical contributions.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the Salesforce system.
  • Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Partner closely with end-users to understand their specific needs, challenges, and business processes, translating these into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS by performing regular audits and updates.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance system functionality.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
  • User Support: Provide expert technical support to end-users, proactively identifying their needs and challenges, and developing customized solutions to enhance their HRIS experience. Provide training and support to HR staff and other users on the ADP platform.
  • Compliance: Ensure the HRIS complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy and security standards.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades and implementations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Specifically, the candidate should have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS administration, with a strong focus on ADP systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms. Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: HRIS or ADP certifications are a plus.
