Technology Integration Engineer

Red Nucleus is hiring a Technology Integration Engineer to join our Global IT Team! This can be a full-time remote role in the US.

How you Will Contribute

 The Technology Integrations Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems infrastructure with a focus on integration, security, and scalability. This role will involve cross-training and assisting with business systems roles, server and network hardening, and supporting the Director of Information Security in achieving and upholding ISO 27001 standards. A significant portion of the role will involve tasks related to acquisitions, including migrating systems to Red Nucleus, such as Office 365, G-Suite, and storage solutions like Box, Dropbox, Egnyte, and SharePoint. Additionally, the role will require migrating domains and websites as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Develop and implement system automation to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, external partners, and internal teams to identify and build processes and tools that enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assist with product and development roadmap planning and turn plans into actionable changes within IT delivery and services.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk management to deploy cybersecurity measures.
• Provide root cause analysis and remediation of critical service failures.
• Develop standards for infrastructure and cloud hosting architecture and services.
• Act as a champion for data protection and IT security, ensuring standards and best practices are followed.
• Document technical solutions and develop how-to documents to assist IT Services with troubleshooting and technical understanding.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Assist the Director of Information Security with tasks related to achieving and upholding ISO 27001 standards.
• Lead tasks related to acquisitions, including migrating systems to Red Nucleus, such as Office 365, G-Suite, and storage solutions like Box, Dropbox, Egnyte, and SharePoint.

About You

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent years of Systems Administration and/or Engineer experience.
• Experience as an IT Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SaaS, IaaS, and technology utilized by major cloud service providers.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices, tools, and processes.
• Experience with server operating system and application virtualization, MS Windows, Directory Services (e.g., AD, LDAP), enterprise and endpoint backup solutions, NG Anti-virus software, and managed security services.
• Strong scripting skills for Windows, PowerShell preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
• The ability to travel as needed.

• Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day.
• Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day.
• Typical office environment.
• May be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
