About the Role:

CrowdStrike’s Salesforce Go-to-Market Applications team is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to help build and deploy automation and configuration at our scale. We are looking for a highly-technical, hands-on DevOps Engineer with experience in Salesforce releases as well as in managing Salesforce source metadata. You will develop and maintain tools, configuration repositories, and other core infrastructure services to support CrowdStrike’s Salesforce Go-to-Market Applications team.

What You’ll Do:

As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for various aspects of development and delivery, including:

  • Repository housekeeping and debugging.

  • Implementing new CI steps to existing builds.

  • Reviewing Salesforce release updates. 

  • Supporting implementation and rollout of productivity tools to Salesforce Engineers (i.e., sf-cli plugins).

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role delivering releases on Salesforce.

  • 2+ years of experience with off-the-shelf tools such as: AutoRABIT, Copado, and/or Gearset.

  • Scripting experience with one or more of the following: Bash, Node, Python, and/or Golang.

  • A superior understanding of both the Salesforce Metadata and Salesforce Tooling API.  

  • Proven experience in building tools in a loosely coupled, but highly cohesive manner.  

  • Experience in advocating for a DevOps culture, tooling, delivery methods, and practices.

  • Ability to help identify opportunities for growth/maturation of DevOps offerings and help establish a roadmap for that growth.

  • Experience in supporting secure, well-tested, high-quality infrastructure.

Bonus Points:

  • Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, CIS, or EECS.

  • Experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket.

  • Salesforce Certified (i.e., Platform Developer 1, 2).

  • Copado and/or Flosum certified.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $160,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
