Job Description

As an Allstate Outside Insurance Sales Producer you are a highly skilled, fully licensed professional with active property, casualty, life, and health insurance licenses. In this role, you will assess customer needs, recommend appropriate products or services, and provide exceptional customer support. Through virtual and hands-on training, you’ll develop expertise in cross-selling a wide range of insurance products to protect customers and their families, handling complex inquiries and resolving service concerns.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Drive new business by lead generation efforts by actively sourcing and prospecting potential new customers in and around your local community. Leverage personal and professional networks, develop new relationships, and drive referrals leading to sales.

Sales & Customer Experience Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities to expand household coverage and improve customer retention. Leverage in-depth knowledge of Allstate’s products and services to build trust, establish credibility, and provide tailored solutions.

Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships within the community through organizations and partnerships to drive referrals and new business. Travel locally to participate in events such as car shows, home expos, and open houses to expand your network and generate leads.

Follow-up on Leads: Dedicate time to follow up on leads from community engagement, those provided by your marketing efforts, and nurture relationships to convert leads into sales opportunities.  Utilize effective communication and sales techniques to engage prospects and overcome objections.

Partnership with Marketing: Develop and manage a marketing plan in alignment with your manager and budget to drive sales opportunities and grow your network. Stay informed on emerging marketing techniques and industry trends to adapt to market changes effectively.

Compensation:

Target Total Compensation$80,000 – $120,000 per year (Salary + Uncapped Performance-Based Incentives). Incentives are based on productivity and are not guaranteed. Payments are governed by the terms of the applicable sales bonus plan, which is subject to change at Allstate’s discretion.

Base Salary Range: $40,000 to $60,000

Required Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 3 years of insurance sales experience

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License

  • Active Life & Health Insurance License

  • Ability to work 9 AM-5:30 PM CT during the first 3 weeks for training

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrate self-motivation and accountability in managing work and performance

  • Reliable internet connection

  • Reliable transportation for local travel within the community
